이 연구는 지역 연계 평생교육 프로그램 사례 분석으로서, 연구자가 개발을 주도한 성신여자대학교 평생교육원의 성북, 종로, 도봉구청과의 관학 연계 사업의 인문학아카데미 프로그램에 대한 일종의 자체분석 보고서이다. 4년간의 인문학아카데미 운영과정에서 지역자치단체와 주민들의 다양한 욕구를 반영할 수 있는 새로운 프로그램을 개발하고 변형시켰다. 첫째, 지역문화유산에 대한 인문학적 성찰을 핵심 내용으로 삼는 “살아있는 인문학 박물관” 프로그램을 개발하였다. 문화유산이란 물질적 자원뿐만 아니라 인적자원으로 이해될 때 현재성을 갖기에 지역 문화예술인들을 섭외하고, 지역문화유산 답사 프로그램을 실시했다. 둘째, 주민들의 대중적 관심과 흥미, 지적 욕구를 수용하여 영화나 미술을 비롯한 문화예술 제 분야와의 융합교육 프로그램을 모색하였다. “이야기로 배우는 인문학” 프로그램은 토크쇼 형식의 이야기로 진행하는 강의 및 현장 학습을 글쓰기와 연계화한 내면화 교육을 도입하였다. 이 과정에서 인문학적 성찰과 문화예술교육의 융합, 강사와 청중이 이야기로 소통하는 강의실, 지역 사회와 역사 속에서의 ‘나’의 발견을 추구하는 평생교육 프로그램 개발을 인문학아카데미의 지향점으로 삼았다. 또한 지역문화유산을 활용한 현장 교육 모형으로서 종로구의 ‘소설가 구보 따라 종로 걷기’와 도봉구의 ‘김수영 문학관과 도봉 역사문화길 탐방’을 소개하였다. 이와 같은 경험적 사례를 공유함으로써 인문학과 문화예술교육과의 융합 프로그램을 개발하고, 지역 사회의 요구에 부응한 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공하는 인문학아카데미의 모델이 되기를 희망한다. 한편 평생교육 프로그램은 주민들의 참여에 의해 완성된다는 점에서 지역공동체의 동아리 활동과 같은 자발적인 네트워크로의 연결은 도시인문학의 또 하나의 과제가 될 것이다. 이 연구가 인문학이 시민들에게 다가가는 대중적이고 실용적인 학문으로 자리 잡는 하나의 시론이 되길 기대한다.
This study analyzed the amalgamation program development in the academy of humanities and the culture and arts Education by Linking between Lifelong Education and Locality. This study Submitted a kind of the resulting report about linked business between Sungshin Women’s University lifelong education center and Jongno-gu Office, Seongbuk-gu Office, Dobong-gu Office. In the four years of operating procedures of the Academy of Humanities the fusion program was developed. The fusion program expanded its curriculum and reflects the desire to Culture and Arts. ChapterⅡanalyzed A living museum of Humanities programs of Seongbuk-gu Office and Jongno-gu Office in terms of linking between lifelong education and local cultural heritage. And analyzed Humanities by storytelling programs of Seongbuk-gu Office and Jongno-gu Office in terms of the fusion program development in the humanities and the culture and arts Education. Chapter Ⅲ analyzed two on-site teaching model. Those are Walking with Mr. Gubo through Jongno in the lifelong education program of Jongno-gu Office and Exploring the Kim Sooyoung Museum and Dobong historical and cultural way.
