The Pelger-Huët anomaly is a benign anomaly of leukocytes that it is characterized by reduced number of nuclear segments and is inherited as autosomal dominant trait. The nuclei appear rod-like, dumbbell-shaped. lobes but the Pelger-Huët cells are functionally normal.. A 11-year-old boy was admitted for chemotheraphy of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The peripheral blood smears reveal that majority of neutrophils have one or two lobes per nucleus. His father′s peripheral blood showed the same findings. We report a family case of Pelger-Huët anomaly.
