이 연구는 자전류의 한자음들과는 달리 한자능력검정시험 교재에서만 특이하게 복수 한자음으로 나타나고 있는 용례들을 중심으로 특이 복수 한자음의 생성 배경 및 원인을 모색하고자 한 것이다. 한자능력검정시험의 교재에 수록된 한자들은 현대인들에게 현대 한국 한자의 표준적인 음훈(音訓)을 전달하는 역할을 하므로, 교재에 수록된 한자들의 내용을 살펴보는 것은 의의가 있을 것으로 생각된다. 다른 자전류들과는 달리 한자능력검정시험 교재에서만 유독 특이하게 복수 한자음으로 나타나는 용례는 30자이며, 이러한 특이 복수 한자음의 생성 배경 및 원인을 살펴본 결과, 한자 어휘의 영향, 정속음(正俗音)의 영향, 해성자(諧聲字)의 영향, 전통 한자음의 영향 등에 기인하는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the development background and causes of unusual Chinese characters with multiple sounds, focusing on cases that were introduced to have multiple sounds only in the textbooks of the Chinese characters qualification test but not in Chinese character dictionaries. Chinese characters included in the textbooks of the Chinese characters qualification play the role of transmitting the standard sound and meaning of contemporary Chinese characters used in Korea, so it is believed meaningful to explore the contents of Chinese characters contained in such textbooks. This study found 30 Chinese characters that were introduced to have multiple sounds only in Chinese character textbooks but not in other Chinese character dictionaries. When the development background and causes of such Chinese characters with multiple sounds were examined, we identified causes such as the influence of Chinese vocabulary, the influence of standard and popular pronunciations (正俗音), the influence of phonetic compounds (諧聲字), and the influence of traditional Chinese character pronunciations.
