본 연구는 수도권 입지규제 완화에 따른 비수도권의 기업유치 및 지역산업의 영향을 충청남도를 사례로 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선, 수도권 이전기업 유치를 바탕으로 지역산업을 성장시켜 온 충청남도는 수도권 입지규제 완화 이후 기업유치의 감소로 제조업 중심의 지역산업 성장이 약화되고 있다. 그러나 수도권 입지규제 완화가 기업유치 및 지역산업에 미친 영향은 시·군에 따라 커다란 차이를 보이고 있다. 기업유치를 통해 지역산업의 토대가 마련된 천안과 아산은 수도권 입지규제 완화에 따른 수도권 기업의 유치 감소에도 불구하고 지역 내 신설기업의 유치를 통해 특화제조업종을 중심으로 지역산업의 성장을 유지해 가고 있다. 이에 반해 특화업종에서 지역산업의 토대를 마련하지 못한 당진과 서산·예산·홍성·공주·보령·논산 등은 수도권 기업의 유치 감소와 함께 지역 내 신설기업의 유치 또한 감소함으로써 지역산업의 성장이 약화되고 있다.
This study analyzes about the impact of the deregulation of enterprise location in Capital Region on the enterprise attraction and regional industry in Chungcheongnam Do. As a reduction of attracting enterprise after the deregulation of enterprise location in Capital Region, Chungcheongnam-do‘s enterprise attraction and regional industry growth weaken. But these impacts are very different according to Cities and Counties. Despite of the diminution of attracting enterprise due to the deregulation of enterprise location in Capital Region, Chonan and Asan which have established a regional industry base maintain their’s regional industry growth with an attraction of newly-established enterprises in the region. On the contrary, the regional industry growth of Dangjin, Seosan, Yesan, Hongseong, Kongju, Boryeong and Nonsan which has not established a regional industry base is being weakened with a diminution of attracting enterprise from outside and inside.
