연구를 하다보면 모든 연구내용이 변해 가는 것을 보게 된다. 그 변화가 위대한 진전인지 또는 발전인지는 구분하기 힘드나 독도연구 역시 시간이 지나면서 변화하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 이러한 변화는 새로운 역사적 사실이 담긴 자료를 발견한다든지 또는 국제정세변화에 따라 국가 간에 세력균형의 변화가 생겼을 때이기도 하다. 전후 일본은 독도에 대해 영유권주장을 해오고 있다. 냉전체제하에서 일본의 對韓 독도영유권주장은 주로 외무성을 통한 공문서중심이었으나 이제는 교과서 언론 그리고 정부가 앞장서고 있는 형국이다. 이처럼 과거 일본의 독도영유권 주장은 외교의 중요한 부분을 차지했으나 지금은 양국 간의 정치문제로 비화되고 있다. 그래서 본 연구는 일본의 독도영유권주장이 전후초기 일본의회에서는 어떻게 다뤄졌는지에 대해 분석하고 해결방법을 제안하는데 있다.
It is not difficult to see research contents change over time. It is difficult to know if a change is a headed to progress, but research on Dokdo is changing over time for sure. This kind of change happens when a new historical data is found or when the international power structure is changed. After the war, Japan has been claiming rights over Dokdo. Japan's policy toward Korea in the Cold War period was mostly through official documents from the foreign affairs ministry, but now it comes from textbooks, media, and government. As seen, in the past, Japan's claim over Dokdo was an important part of its diplomacy, but now it is regarded as a national political issue. Therefore, this research aims to study how Japan's claim over Dokdo was handled in the Japanese Diet soon after the war. Further, this research suggests possible solutions.
