본 연구는 2006년부터 2015년까지 국내 학술지 논문 중 청각장애 청소년에 관련된 연구 63편을 분석하여 최근 동향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 청각장애 청소년에 대한 연구 방법과 연구 주제를 알아보고 연구 주제에 따른 논문들을 간략하게 제시함으로 연구 내용에도 접근하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 청각장애 청소년과 관련된 연구 유형을 분석한 결과 조사연구가 54%로 가장 많았으며 실험연구(25%), 질적연구(16%), 문헌연구(5%) 순으로 나타났다. 조사연구 내에서도 설문지를 이용한 연구가 가장 많고 다음이 검사도구, 델파이 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 63편의 논문을 범주한 결과 언어, 청소년 발달, 교과, 학교생활, 수어통역, 진로& 직업, 여가, 기타 등의 주제로 도출되었다. 이 중 청소년 발달에 관한 연구가 35%로 가장 많고 다음이 언어(25%), 교과(16%) 등의 결과를 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청각장애 청소년 관련 연구 및 방향에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다.
This study reviews the hearing-impaired youth research published in Korea for the purpose of identifying significant recently trends. A total of 63 articles is reviewed and classified based on research topics as well as research methodologies. Through the brief presentation of research methodologies and topics, the significant trends are discussed. As a result of the analysis of methodologies, 54% of research is the survey research followed by experimental research (25%), qualitative research (16%), and literature review (5%). Among the survey research, instrumentation research is mostly used followed by test tools, questionnaires, observation, and Delphi method. As a result of the analysis of topics, language, youth development, curriculum, school life, sign language interpretation, job & career, recreation, and others are identified. Youth development ranks the most popular topic (35%) and is followed by language (25%), and curriculum (16%). Based on these results, the trends of hearing-impaired youth research are discussed.
