여섯째 나팔과 일곱째 나팔 사이에 위치하는 계 10:1-11:13은 일반적으로 일곱 나팔들의 환상(8:2-11:19)에 삽입된 한 단락으로 간주되고 있지만, 이 논문은 그것을 일곱 나팔들의 환상의 중심이라고 본다. 왜냐하면 이 단락에서 묘사된 요한과 두 증인들의 반제국주의 예언운동이 전 세계를 지배하는 로마제국의 우상 숭배적인 제국주의 체제의 끝장과 대안적인 새로운 세계의 개벽을 통고하는 일곱째 나팔의 선포에 결정적인 역할을 하기 때문이다 나는 계 10:1-11:13을 탈식민주의적 관점에서 희생자들의 시각으로 그리고 여성주의적 시각으로 새롭게 해석하려고 시도한다. 이러한 맥락에서 부활의 의미를 새롭게 찾고자 한다. 그리고 우상 숭배적인 제국주의 체제에 저항한 요한과 두 예언자적 증인들의 저항과 희망의 삶에서 종말론적 인간론의 근간을 찾고자 한다.
Although Rev10:1-11:13 has been usually regarded as interlude, I attempt to argue it as center of the vision of seven trumpets. It is because that the prophetic movement of anti-imperialism against the Roman Empire in this passage is closely related with the blast of seventh trumpet, which bring an end to the present time. I interpret this passage thoroughly from the perspective of post-colonialism. In this context I also seek new meanings of the resurrection of the slaughtered in terms of their resistance against the Roman imperialism and their hope and yearning for an alternative world.
