The purpose of this paper is to identify Information technology characterestics. This paper also aims to investigate the effects of the characterestics on the intermediary Trade e-Marketplace usage factors and performances. Through this study, several significant results are found as it follows: Firstly, it is found that the establishment of hardware infrastructure and ability for information utilization of employees are primary preceding factors for the usage of an intermediary trade e-MP by the exporting firms. This can be more effective when the change of CEO's recognition on information and his active support is secured. Secondly, as it is shown that the policy characteristic negatively affects to the usage level of an intermediary trade e-MP, the change of government's assistance policy for information and e-Trade is needed. The hardware aspect in the informa- tional technology characteristic is now generalized to public through the internet. However, the capability of informational system utilization does not keep up with a rapid change of informational technology. Thus, it requires the persistent financially support and education for informational system utilization. Thirdly, the trade e-MP operator requires more efforts for liquidity robustness and immediacy improvement. Generally, the market liquidity will be sufficient with large number of market participants. Therefore, the operator needs to construct the specialized and well-defined model for enterprise needs
