칭기스칸의 역사와 전략은 동서양을 막론하고 국가기관이나 사관학교에서 강좌를 개설하고 텍스트로 해석되고 있다. 몽골제국이 성립되어 세계 자유 역망이 만들어져 교통, 문화, 과학 발전에 긍정적인 영향을 끼쳤다. 또한 정복 전쟁은 군사 기술과 무기 기술의 전 세계적인 발전에 공헌하게 되었다. 실제 제국의 세계통치이념인 팍스-몽골리카를 뒷받침해 주는 핵심 사상이 조화와 융합을 강조한 멍케-텡게르(Mongke Tenggeri)이다. 대몽골제국의 국교 멍케-텡게르 사상은 칭기스칸의 몽골고원 통일과 직접 관계를 맺으며 출현했으며, 제국의 확장을 통해 멍케-텡게르가 세계의 보편종교로 자리 잡고 있음을 보여준다. 평등은 자유와 함께 정당한 질서를 추구하고자한 사람들에 의해서 강조되어 온 귀중한 법적, 정치적 이념이자 도덕적 가치이다. 대체로 자유가 인간의 자율적인 선택과 책임을 인정하는 것이라면, 평등은 사람들의 다양한 차이에도 불구하고 인간으로서의 가치를 동등하게 인정하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 칭기스칸의 대몽골제국은 실제로 평등과 자유를 실현하는 열린사회와 다민족공동체를 만들었다. 이 모든 합리적이고 평등적인 사상은 징키스칸이 통치했던 모든 영역에서 나타나고 있다. 본 논고에서는 칭기스칸의 통치력에 나타난 멍케-텡게르(Mongke Tenggeri)적 평등사상의 범주를 고찰하고자 한다.
Regardless of the East and West, government institutions and military schools have been offering classes on the history and strategies of Chinggis Khan and interpreting the texts about them. With the establishment of the Mongol Empire, the worldwide free network was built up, which had a positive influence on the development of transportation, culture, and science. Besides, the conquest wars made contributions to the worldwide advancement of military and weapons technology. In fact, it was Mongke Tenggeri highlighting harmony and fusion that backed up Pax Mongolica which was the world ruling principle of the Empire. The idea of Mongke Tenggeri, the state religion of the Mongol Empire, emerged by forming a direct relationship with Chinggis Khan's unification of the Mongolian Plateau. The expansion of the Empire showed that Mongke Tenggeri was established as a universal religion in the world. Equality, along with freedom, is a precious legal and political ideology and moral values that have been emphasized by people who tried to pursue fair order. In general, while freedom is something that acknowledges individuals' autonomous choice and responsibility, equality is something that acknowledges each individual's values equally despite great differences among people. Chinggis Khan's Mongol Empire actually made an open and multiethnic society that actualized equality and freedom. All these ideas of rationality and equality manifested themselves in all areas ruled by Chinggis Khan This paper aims to investigate the categories of the thoughts on equality based on Mongke Tenggeri displayed by Chinggis Khan's ruling power.
