The purpose of this paper is to derive main components of the community business policy from theoretical discussions and case studies on community-related policy issues and to make practical distinctions between community business policy and social enterprise and its related policies. In addition, it attempts to estimate the effects of government financial support on number of jobs created at local level, using system dynamics methodology. Regarding the first purpose of this research, it is found that community business policy differs from social enterprise and other related policies in some respects including policy objective and target. As regards the second research purpose, it is also found that government financial support can have a significant policy effect on the jobs which can be created at local and regional level.
