본 연구는 한국형 유아발달검사를 제작하기 위한 예비연구로서, 일반적으로 발달심리학자들이 주장하는 유아 발달 영역을 인지, 언어, 사회·정서, 신변자립, 대근육운동, 소근육운동 등 6개 영역으로 구분하고, 약 2.5세부터 7세 이전에 이루어지는 발달 문항들을 각 영역별 80개씩 총 480 문항을 선정하였다. 본 검사의 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보기 위하여 어린이집과 유치원에 다니고 있고 생활연령이 만 2세 9개월부터 6세 8개월까지 6개월 단위로 각각 40명씩 총 320명(남 156, 여 164)을 대상으로 다음과 같은 통계분석을 하였다. 먼저 신뢰도를 알아보기 위하여 내적 일치도와 측정 표준오차, 그리고 검사-재검사 신뢰도를 분석하였는데, 연령별 하위검사의 일치도 계수는 일부 연령층(6세 3개월 - 6세 8개월)을 제외하고 거의 모두 .90 이상으로 나타나 하위검사 문항들이 동질적이고 신뢰로운 것으로 판명되었다. 또 하위검사의 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 부모가 평정한 경우 .963에서 .977까지, 교사가 평정한 경우 .895에서 .944까지 나타나 모두 통계적으로 유의미하였다(p<.001). 한편, 내용타당도를 알아보기 위해 확인적 문항분석(confirmatory item analysis)을 실시하였는데, 각 영역별 문항의 point-biserial 상관계수가 몇 개의 문항을 제외하고는 아주 높게 나타났고, 각 하위검사의 중앙 계수도 모두 통계적으로 유의미하였다(p<.01). 또 구성타당도를 알아보기 위하여 하위검사간 상호상관을 알아보았는데, 각 하위검사간 상호상관은 .97 이상으로 나타나 모두 통계적으로 유의미하였다(p<.001). 이는 하위검사들이 서로 밀접하게 관련되어 있고, 각 하위검사의 문항들이 동일한 구성개념을 측정하고 있음을 시사해 준다.


This study was preliminarily executed to develop the Korean Developmental Inventory assessing developmental state of preschoolers. Items are made up six domains of child development: cognitive, language, society-emotion, self-help, gross motor, fine motor. Subjects were 320 children(male 156, female 164) who has been attended to a kindergarten or a day care center. For demonstrating the reliabilities of the test, the internal consistency of the items one this inventory was investigated to Cronbach's α and the Standard Error of Measurement(SEM). The reliability coefficients for the subtests were reached above .90 except a age group. The SEM for the subtests of this inventory is approximately less than the score point 6. Also the test-retest correlation coefficients were reached above .96 in parent rater and .89 in teacher raters and were all statistically significant(p<.001). Also a confirmatory item analysis was done for determining the validities. The median coefficients for each subtest were ranged from .692 to .787 and were all statistically significant(p<.01). Also, the intercorrelations among its subtests were above .97 and were all statistically significant(p<.001).
