Korean agriculture currently faces difficulties due to many national and international changes, such as the expansion of the domestic agricultural market and changes in consumer patterns. To overcome upcoming difficulties and open up the future of new agriculture, there is a need to assess the educational performance of farmers and its impact on their business performance. This study examines the attitude of agricultural population, educational conditions, and the quality of educational programs, and analyze their influence on business performance. According to the results of this study, farmers' interest and expectations for education did not have a large influence on their achievements in education. Compared to the amount of interest and expectations, final satisfaction was not as large as anticipated. However, the excellence of learning conditions and educational programs did affect final achievements in education, and the excellence of educational programs had a bigger influence than learning attitude and learning conditions. Therefore, in order to improve the achievement level of agricultural education, a better quality education with a broader range of subjects and clear objectives needs to be offered. The higher the interest and expectations of the farming population toward learning were, and the higher the educational achievements and the quality of educational programs were, the better the performance of agricultural businesses. In terms of the amount of impact on business performance, the level of educational achievement had the most impact followed by excellence of educational programs and learning attitude. Therefore, in order to inspire the motivation for learning and communicate the importance of such education to farming communities, there is a need to introduce a variety of methods. In this day and age where people have life-long jobs, members of organizations tend to focus on building information networks to better their skills and devote themselves to self-development. In other words, instead of seeking short-term benefits, it is necessary to make mid- and long-term plans to yield better business results through education and continuous self-management and development.
