The purpose of this study was to develop the vision & strategies of Korean food service industry to raise industry infrastructure and service quality to the levels of advanced countries by 2013. The study was conducted by using various research methods; literature review, Internet search, face-to-face and phone interviews, survey, and interview with industry experts. The study concluded that the vision of Korean food service industry is becoming a world-class leader in food service industry by 2013 with the well-established global infrastructure, global standards, and global marketing program. 10 core policies that the government has to make efforts at were explained in detail.
