제7차 도덕과 교육과정에서는 인지적 측면과 행동적 측면의 연결고리로서 매우 중요한 역할을 하는 정의적 측면의 수업을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 교사들은 정의적 측면의 수업에 많은 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 따라서 교사들의 어려움을 해소하기 위해서는 효과적인 정의적 측면의 수업방법과 절차의 모색이 필요하다. 수업방법의 측면에서는 학생의 수준에 맞는 모범적 사례를 통해 서로의 감정을 표현하고 느끼며, 이를 통해 본받을 점을 찾고 반성해 가면서 실천의지를 다지는 활동이 필요하다. 또한 학습문제를 효과적으로 제시할 수 있는 방법과 학생들의 학습양식을 고려한 수업의 전개, 학습자료의 구안과 활용방법에 대한 이해가 중요하다. 정의적 측면의 수업 절차와 관련해서는 ‘관련사례 알기와 관련경험 환기하기’→ ‘도덕적 감정 표현하고 공유하기와 본 받을 점 찾기’→ ‘자신을 반성하고 실천의지 다지기’로 재구성 지도하는 것이 필요하다. 도덕과 정의적 측면 수업에서 감정의 공유와 본받을 점의 동시성, 그리고 자기 반성과 실천의지의 연결점을 고려하여 수업의 절차를 재구성하고 ‘마음 그리기’라는 정의적 측면의 핵심전략을 활용한 수업을 전개할 때 통합적 도덕성 함양에 매우 효과적이라 할 수 있다.
Moral Education in the 7th curriculum emphasizes the affective domain, which plays an important role as the link between the cognitive domain and the behavioral domain. However, many teachers experience difficulty in taking the affective approach to Moral Education. Therefore, in order to solve the difficulty that ethics teachers experience, we need to explore effective teaching methods and procedures in teaching the affective domain. A good teaching method would be to choose an exemplary case fit for the students level, have the students share their feelings about it, and use this experience as a chance to reinforce moral behavior by helping the students reflect on their behavior and find aspects to emulate in the role model. It is important to find out a way to introduce the subject to learn in an effective way, and students learning style must be considered when planning a lesson. It is also important for the instructor to fully understand the teaching material and ways to make the best use of it. Consequently, teaching procedure in the affective domain must be restructured as the following: (1) learning about similar cases and recollecting similar experiences; (2) sharing moral feelings and finding aspects to emulate in the role model; (3) reflecting on ones conduct and reinforcing moral practice. In conclusion, in order to foster morality in the Moral classroom, student should be encouraged to share their feelings on their role models, and lesson plans should link self-reflection and practice. Utilizing the key strategy of the affective approach, drawing you heart, in the classroom is the most effective way for Moral Education.
