In recently, teacher’s teaching behavior is regarded the most important factor for determine on quality of learning in a class. Therefore, it should need to analysis of teaching behavior related to effect of learning on class. The existing method of analysis of teaching behavior is various such as direct observation, video recording, interview, and so on. However, these researches have a very important restriction; intervention of subjectivity in analysis. It should be introduced new analysis method excluded shortcomings to consult teaching behavior by objective view. At this reason, purpose of this study is exploration of consulting possibility by using Eye-tracker. To make sure, we recruited a teacher named A, and we did detect and analyse on gaze patterns of teacher wearing a mobile eye-tracker on class. After, we have performed analysis to reveal whether or not existence of student valuable. As a result of this study, gaze fixation of teacher A was relatively lower level, and gaze fixations within student zone are concentrated some AOIs. We found out a factor that pattern of gaze fixation is not related to student valuable. Next we provide to teacher A counsel about problems of gaze fixation. As a result of post-consulting, gaze fixation of instruction zone decrease, but gaze fixation of student zone increase. In addition, pattern of gaze fixation is similarly changed among AOIs within student zone. Consequently, this study shows a possibility of consulting of teaching by using eye-tracker, and reveals pattern of gaze fixation is a important factor to analysis teacher’s teaching behavior.
교수행동 분석을 위한 기존의 연구방법은 주관성 개입과 같은 한계점을 지니고 있으므로 교수행동의 객관적 컨설팅을 위해서는 정량적 분석이 가능한 연구방법법이 도입되어야 한다. 이 연구에서는 시선추적기(Eye-tracker)를 활용하여 교수행동 중 상호작용 요소와 관련된 시선움직임을 분석함으로써 교사에게 적절한 처방을 제공할 수 있는지 확인하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 수업 중 교사의 시선집중 및 배분 정도를 확인하고, 분석결과를 바탕으로 컨설팅 함으로써 시선집중 및 배분 패턴이 변화하는지 확인하였다. 연구결과 컨설팅 전 수업 중 A 교사의 시선집중도는 학생영역이 상대적으로 낮게 나타났으며, 학생영역 내에서의 시선집중 역시 특정 자리에 편중되는 현상이 나타났다. 또한 분석결과를 바탕으로 컨설팅을 실시함으로써 시선데이터 분석결과 학생영역으로의 시선집중이 증가하였으며 학생영역 내에서의 시선배분 패턴이 고르게 분산되는 변화를 보였다. 그러므로 이 연구를 통해 시선추적기를 활용한 교수행동 컨설팅이 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 수업 상황에서 시선집중 및 배분의 패턴이 일정하게 유지되며 가소성을 지니고 있다는 사실을 통해 시선의 배분이 컨설팅 가능한 교수행동 요소에 해당한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 수업 컨설팅에 있어 시선추적기의 활용은 수업 상황의 시선배분 패턴에 대한 분석 및 처방을 매우 효과적으로 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.
