현행 가곡창사 ‘버들은…’을 분석하여 時調辭가 5장적 정조 유동 구조를 가지고 있어서 時調의 구조보다는 歌曲의 구조와 일체로 상응함을 밝혔다. 5장 구조적 평시조의 내적 정조 유동과 의미 구조는 이렇게 정리 될 수 있다. ‘초장과 2장에서는 정조 형성의 정황이 설정된다. 동시에 초장에서 정조의 발단을 조성하고 2장에서 그 정조가 증폭된다. 3장에서는 정조가 축적 증폭되어 절정에 이르는 긴박성을 보이며 마지막에 이르러 순일하고 강력한 정조로 자리잡는다. 4장에서는 3장까지에서 증폭되어 극점에 이른 정조가 폭발하고 5장에서 점강하여 평정되면서 정지된다.’ 초장, 2장, 3장은 정조 에너지의 증폭 구조이고 4장 오장은 정조 에너지의 하강 구조이다. 나아가 선학의 논의를 인용하여 이러한 구조적 특성이 시조의 전범적 형식으로 보편성을 획득할 수 있는 논리적 기반을 제시하고 몇 편의 구체적 작품분석을 통하여 이를 실증하였다. 시조의 5장 구조적 정조 유동상은 조선 전기․중기의 平時調 일반에서 널리 발견되는 보편성을 가지고 있다. 특히 마음속 깊이 응축된 간절하고 순일한 정조가 즉흥을 타고 흘러나와 세련된 생동감을 보유하고 있는 精髓的인 작품일수록 이 5장의 정조 유동 구조는 적실히 적용된다時調辭는 오랫동안 향유되면서 외형적으로나 내적 정조면에서나 多岐한 변화를 겪어 왔다. 3장형식론은 어쩌면 그 다기한 변화상을 대범하게 포괄할 수 있는 형식론일 수 있다. 그러나, 5장형식론, 양장(양절)형식론 또한 3장형식론이 확보하고 있는 논리적 근거 정도의 논리적 근거는 확보될 수 있는 이론이다. 시조사의 변화와 미감과 향유실태를 보다 넓고, 깊고, 정치하게 이해하기 위해서는 보다 열린 다각적인 시각이 필요하다. 다기한 변화의 실제에서 장르적 典範을 어떻게 설정할 것인가는 깊이 고려되어야 할 문제다.
We have had a common sence, a Sijopoem is builded with three part and so it is harmonious with the Sijo which is builded with three part also. But if we understand a Sijopoem from the viewpoint of the flowing of sentimet, we can find the structure of a Sijopoem is builded with five part. And so a Sijopoem is more harmonious with the Kagok(builded with five part) than with the Sijo(builded with three part). Many Sijopoems which sung in the early and middle years, the sentimet of a poem flows passing five steps. The flowing energy of sentimet begins to move in the first part of a Sijopoem. And it raises more powerfully in the second part, In the third part, it has raised more and more and arive at the highest. At last it explodes at the four part and lasts for a while and in the five part the energy declines gradually and stop. My paper has a new idea of a Sijopoem's form and structure. But Cho, sun-ja's utterance about the structure of the Kagok and Cho, yoon-jae's utterance about the structure of a Sijopoem can uphold my new idea. A Sijopoem's form and structure can be undrestood builded with two part, and builded with three part, and also builded with five part. Each viewpont has the bases to prove. And then, Sijopoems have sung for a long time and have changed it's outer form and inner mood and sentiment. So we must have some more prudent attitude to search Sijopoems and also to show the typical model.
