본문은 說文解字, 說文解字注를 주요 자료로 삼아, 爾雅, 釋名 등의 고대 중요 자서(字書)를 함께 이용하여 색채어의 의미변화와 그 단어 결합의 특징, 색의 정도에 따른 색의 표현 방법, 고대 사람들의 색에 대한 관념 등 여러 각도에서 논의를 시작하여 고대한어에 나타난 색을 표현하는 단어들의 命名模式에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해, 인지심리학에서 연구되는 이론들을 이용하여 색채어의 발생과 발전을 여러 실제 상황을 통해 해석하고자 한다. 고대한어에 나타난 색채어의 命名模式은 크게 1) 借代命名模式, 2) 組合命名模式, 3) 比擬命名模式 4) 比較命名模式 등 네 가지로 분류할 수 있다.
By taking Shuo wen jie zi and Shuo wen jie zi zhu as the main materials,and Erya and Shiming as the reference materials, this paper attempts at the denomination models of ancient Chinese color words. To achieve this objective, focus is directed to the issues of a) the historical development of ancient Chinese color words, b) analysing the structure of ancient Chinese color words, c) how to express the different degree of ancient Chinese color words, d) ancient Chinese people’s idea about color, e) explain some phenomenon according to cognitive linguistics as its method. There are four kinds of denomination models of ancient Chinese color words: 1) loan model, 2) combination model, 3) figure model, 4) comparison model.
