본 논문은 한․중․일 漢字 字典의 字形 제시 기준에 대하여 고찰하고자 하였다. 특히 한중일 한자 자전에서의 한자 자형 제시 기준을 비교하는 작업을 통해, 현재 한국에서 사용하는 한자 자전의 자형이 어떠한 특징을 가지고 있는지에 대해 파악하고자 함을 목적으로 한 것이다. 중국의 경우 1988년 이전에 편찬된 자전인 경우에는 『印刷通用漢字字形表』, 이후에 편찬된 자전의 경우 『现代汉语通用字表』에 제시한 자형을 표준으로 정하였다. 대만의 경우에는 통용하는 正體를 표준으로 자전의 표제자를 제시하였는데 여기에서 통용하는 字體는 『國字標準字體』를 이른 것이다. 일본의 경우에는 1950년대 편찬된 자전은 『康熙字典』의 자형 기본으로 하였고, 1990년대에 편찬된 사전의 경우에는 『상용한자표』에서 제시한 자형을 기준으로 하였다. 반면, 한국의 경우에는 1909년에 편찬된 『자전석요』로 부터 2008년에 완성된 『漢韓大辭典』의 경우에 이르기까지 『강희자전』의 자형이나 『강희자전』의 자형을 기본으로 한 자형을 자전의 표제자 제시 기준으로 삼았다. 이를 통해, 한국에서 편찬한 한자 자전과 한문교육용 기초 한자의 자형 선정 기준이 동일하게 『강희자전』 자형임을 확인하였다. 요컨대, 중국과 대만, 일본에서 편찬된 자전의 한자 자형은 각 국에서 사전 편찬 당시 국가에서 제정하여 사용 중인 漢字 字表의 자형을 표제자로 제시한 것임을 확인할 수 있다. 반면, 한국에서 편찬된 자전의 한자 자형은 대부분 『강희자전』의 자형을 기본으로 표제자로 제시하였음을 확인할 수 있다. 본고에서 진행한 한․중․일 한자 자전 자형 제시 기준에 대한 비교 검토를 통해, 현재 우리나라에서 사용하고 있는 한자 자전에서의 한자 자형 제시 기준이 가지는 특징을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 결과는 앞으로 초․중․고 한문 학습 자전 편찬 방안 중 자형 표기 기준을 마련하는 데에 일조할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
This paper was intended to examine the proposed standards of Korean․Chinese․Japanese Chinese-character dictionaries. Through this, this paper amis to grasp features included in the characters types of Chinese-character dictionaries used in Korea at the present time. As a result, it could be confirmed that the characters types of Chinese-character dictionaries edited in Chinese, Taiwan and Japan were those of Chinese characters table being used at the current time when each country edited the dictionaries as they were proposed as title words. In the meantime, it could be confirmed that the most characters types of Chinese-character dictionaries edited in Korea were those proposed as title words on the basis of characters types of 『Ganghuijajeon』. In this paper, through comparison and review of the proposed standards of Korean․Chinese․Japanese Chinese-character dictionari es, it was possible to confirm features included in the proposed characters types of Chinese-character dictionaries used in Korea. It is expected this result is able to contribute to preparing a standard for writing the characters types in editing a Chinese-character dictionary for elementary middle and high school Chinese character learning.
