이 논문은 목회자들의 목회실천이 단순히 성도들을 대상하는 수여자로서의 실체로서 보다는 오히려 목회자 자신을 포함하는 하나의 공동체적 목회환경으로 변혁할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하여 보고자 하는 의도에서 출발 한다. 현실적으로 한국교회 목회자들은 자신들의 목회활동을 통한 과중한 업무와 획일적이고 수직적인 목회환경 속에서 창의적이거나 감성적인 기대를 하기 에는 매우 어려운 현실이라 할 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본질적인 목사의 목회활동은 그 어떤 성과나 가시적 발전을 최우선적으로 기대하거나 목적할 수 있는 것이 아니라는 사실은 자명한 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 한국적 목회현장의 실상은 많은 내용과 상황들에서 가시적이고 양적 성장에 치중하는 현상으로 부터 자유롭지 못한 목회환경에 노출되어 있다 할 것이다. 이러한 한국 교회의 현상적 발전과 성과 중심의 교회발전 앞에 책임적 존재로 영적 지도자로 일컬어지는 목회자가 있다. 이럴 경우 목회자는 자신의 영적 지도력으로 감당할 수 없는 성과적 직무와 교회의 현상적 발전에 대하여 모든 책임을 짊어지고 자기 정체성과 전혀 맞지 않을 수도 있는 목회 현실로 잠식되어 질 수도 있을 것이다. 이러한 한국교회의 성과적 목회현실에 대한 염려와 함께 하나의 대안으로서 전인적이고 신학 감성적인 루돌프 보렌의 “신학적 미학”을 소개하고자 한다. 이로서 한국교회의 목회현장과 목회자들로부터 한국 사회 전반으로까지 하나님의 나라의 아름다운 형상들이 일상 생활 속으로 전달될 수 있기를 희망하여 보는 것이다.
This article seeks for an alternation for a communal pastoral environment that could challenge the reality of Korean churches in which ministers have been just as bestowment on the congregations. The ministry is not a kind of business to persue results or profits, but a work to build a holy community differentiated from any secular group in which each member lives in unity with confidence on and appreciation of God's absolute grace and the redemption. However, in the Korean churches and the structures or systems, we have observed that the circumstances of the ministry heavily rely on monolithic and vertical structures and systems. In this pastoral contexts, it is difficult for us to expect something creative or sensitive from the Korean ministers who have been overburdened at office to fit to the tightly organized systems. This causes many problems in terms of the personality or mentality of the ministers. Due to this context, it is realized for the ministers not to be recognized any more as a spiritual leader. Thus, this article deals with the ideas and suggestions from "the beautiful practice of ministry" of Rudolf Bohren as an alternation, trying to challenge the Korean churches and even the Korean society through the practice. For Bohren, the beautiful practice of ministry is that a minister shares her/his experiences with the beautiful living God with the people rather than teaches or gives something to the people as a trainer or a giver. Through the transmission of the spiritual beauty of the minister, the people would taste and resemble the beauty of God and further influence one another even including the minister in a faith community.
