컴퓨터 조작과 인터넷 사용이 미숙한 초보자 이면서 또한 젊은 연령층에 비해 새로운 내용의 학습에 대한 두려움과 기억력의 감퇴와 순발력이 다소 늦은 노인분 들에 초점을 맞춘 온라인교육을 효율적으로 돕기 위해 본 논문에서 구현된 가상 체험을 통한 대화식 컴퓨터 학습 시스템은 본격 스마트폰의 대중화 시점에 더 이상 정보화 사회에서 소외되는 노인분 들을 최소화 하는데 기여하고자 한다. 개발된 학습 시스템의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째 컴퓨터에 대한 일반적이고 상식적인 기초 지식마저 미숙한 사람들이 쉽게 접근 할 수 있는 간결하고 쉬운 메뉴로 구성한다. 둘째 본 시스템은 직접 도움말의 안내를 받아 한 걸음 한 걸음을 실제적인 오프라인에서 교육을 받는 것과 같은 느낌으로 체험 할 수 있는 단계별로 실습을 계속 진행시키는 시뮬레이션 기법의 가상 체험 강의를 인터넷을 통해 제공함으로서 일방적인 주입식이 되기 쉬운 온라인 교육의 한계를 극복 하였다. 셋째 본 시스템의 주요 대상은 컴퓨터의 초보자 이므로 사용자들이 한 단계가 끝난 다음 다음단계로 넘어갈 때 본인의 학습이 제대로 이루어 졌는지 쉽게 진단하는 대화식 컴퓨터 학습 시스템으로 이루어져있다.
Compared to the younger generations, the elderly are inexperienced beginners when it comes to computers and the internet. This thesis tries to efficiently help them out with their fear of learning new things, declined memory, and slightly slower reflexes to react to situations. Mainly, the thesis centers on a One-on-One Computer Learning System that is learned through simulation. This will help lessen the alienation of the elderly from today’s age of information. This educational system has the following qualities: First, it is composed of very elementary menus that those that do not have even the most basic knowledge about computers can easily approach it. Certain processes that may be difficult to beginners such as how to start and shut off the internet and sign up. Second, the user will be able to take advantage of the web and use this learning system when and wherever she or he wishes to. This system is very much like learning everything step by step in real life. The simulation-based technique of the virtual lectures easily overcomes the limitations of online education. Third, because the main target of this system are computer illiterates, after each lesson the user can test his or her progress through a one-on-one learning method.
