The purpose of this research was to analyze the status and characteristics of cyber violence and the cyber phenomenon of school violence, and to establish the basic perspective in order to eradicate cyber violence in school. Damage and severity of school cyber violence has gradually increased in spite of the variety of educational policies and programs, enactment of positive law, information and communication systems maintenance, promotion measures are being prepared. The cause of these symptoms is the issue of countermeasures to prevent cyber violence rather than the issue of the basic perspective of cyber violence in school. Therefore, in order to understand the reality of school violence issue and plan fundamental measures to prevent school violence, we should identify the scope of the cyber violence issues and need to access the cyber violence school issues in terms of the relevance of the traditional school violence. In additions, we should consider the overall school environment in order to effectively approach the problem of cyber violence in school environment. Based on the results of the study, practical implications for preventing cyber violence in school are being discussed.
