This paper attempts to account for case assignment and checking in asymmetry coordination construction(ACC). First, this study dealt mainly with case assignment theory such as percolation(Zoerner 1995), CoP[X](Johannessen 1998) and L-marking(Seo&Lee 2005). Especially, L-marking trying to remove the barrier is relatively comprehensive rather than other theories. Second, case checking in ACC in terms of Multiple Agree(Hiraiwa 2001) and Locality(Adger 2003) is superior to Chomsky(2000)'s PIC, Boskovic(2006)'s QP(Quantification Phrase)theory and Lee(2005)&Park(2005)’s Default Case Licensing in that the former is able to check cases of two DPs simultaneously regardless of phase (Chomsky 2000). Third, we can realize that Subject Coordination Structure and Object Coordination Structure have different coordination structure in view of Locality. (Chonbuk National University)
