This paper intends to argue that Ntozake Shange's for colored girls who have considered suicide/ when the rainbow is enuf shows the new vision of political solidarity between subaltern marginalities through body politics. Body/subjectivity is the site not only where meaning is inscribed, constructed and reconstituted but also where subjectivity is enfleshed or embodied. Shange uses a new dramaturgy, a choreopoem based on the black and the woman body rhythm to reveal what body really is. The body is the flesh and signs so it is the site where diffuses lots of meanings. The body both incorporates the ideas and generates them. Throughout the play, the performers and the audiences perform a rite and then recognize that their own body/subjectivity has a free choice in the matter of accepting or rejecting what appears in the body to oppose to distorted images. Understanding the unfixity and open-endedness of the body makes it possible that individual could be generous enough to enfold different others and to accept conflicts in harmony to achieve their political solidarity in the name of oppressed human beings.
