This article attempts to illuminate the introductory scene of Paul’s mission in Ephesus(Ac 19:1-7) by viewing it from the exegetical perspective. It explores the problematic subjects, such as the identity of ‘certain Christian disciples,’ the meaning of baptism of the Holy Spirit related to the baptism of John, and the comparison between ‘the Pentecost of Peter’ and ‘the Pentecost of Paul.’
