이 글은 한국어를 대상으로 통사구조 형성과 관련된 기본적인 논의를 정리하고, 명사구와 동사구가 보이는 몇 가지 구체적인 현상에 대한 설명방안을 살핌으로써 한국어 통사론의 지평을 조망해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 지금까지의 성과를 정리하는 가운데 의미역 위계, 사건구조, 어순에 대한 이해, 문법작용의 대상 단위, 다중 보충어 구조와 패각구조, 다중 관할 등이 연구를 요하는 주요 현안임을 확인한다.
The aim of this paper is to survey the views on syntactic structure building and to discuss some problems surrounding NP and VP. Through these, the recent state of Korean syntax is summarized. Especially, main themes are as the followings - thematic hierarchy, event structure, word order, syntactic object, multiple complement structure, shell structure, and multiple dominance structure.
