본고는 한국어 문법론에서 격과 관련하여 조사를 처리하는 방식에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 이것은 곧 본고의 관심이 한국어 조사들을 분류하고 그 특성을 일별하는 데 있지 않다는 것을 뜻한다. 본고에서 행하고자 하는 것은 한국어의 조사가 문법론에서 파생시키는 여러 가지 문제들을 이론적으로 검토하고 지금까지 제시된 해결책들의 특징을 파악하는 일이다. 그렇게 함으로써 본고는 조사의 성격을 전체적으로 파악하는 데 도움을 주고자 한다.
This paper examines the aspects of Josa ‘particle,’ with respect to Case in Korean grammar. It does not concern itself with the classification of the case particles and their identification. What this paper tries to do is theoretically review numerous problems caused by the case particles in Korean grammar, and have certain understanding of some solutions presented so far. By doing so, this paper hopefully give some help for understanding the case particles at large.
