중국어의 분류사는 자생적으로 탄생하였으며 분류사의 어순 변화도 다른 유관 문법적 요인에 의해서 언어 내적인 변화를 겪은 것이다. 한국어 분류사의 초기생성과정과 어순에 대해서는 자료의 미비로 그 상황을 정확히 파악하기 힘들지만 분류사의 수량과 사용 빈도의 증가는 중국어의 영향을 크게 받았다. 분류사가 중국어에서 한국어로 유입될 때, 어휘뿐만 아니라 어순구조도 함께 유입되었지만 한국어의 문법체계에 맞게 자체적 발전을 도모했다. 중국어와 한국어의 분류사 발전의 관련성은 지리적 인접성과 언어 유형 간의 상관성을 잘 보여준다.
Chinese language created and evolved the classifiers in its grammatical system. Korean language imported a lot of classifiers from Chinese and the same types of word order as the numeral expressions with classifiers had in Chinese, but it has been developing their meanings and word orders in its own way. The close relation between Chinese and Korean classifiers shows how the language contact affects typological change.
