This database program was developed for total management for 33 morphological characters, 6 components and 3 pictures of 150 genetic resources in tea trees, respectively. This program consist of input and retrieval window. The pictures and 39 items such as the variety, leaf area, leaf width, etc. are loaded in input window. The main characters and pictures are retrieved in retrieval window, and the data retrieved are printed to A4 size. This database program was designed for Korean to make anyone as well as researchers use easily. Therefore this database program can provide useful data to breeder and research institutes for tea industrial development, and help grower to select variety and understand morphological characters and component of tea.

차나무 유전자원 150종의 형태적 특성 33항목과, 총질소, 총아미노산 등 성분 특성 6항목, 잎의 모양 등 사진 3종류를 컴퓨터에 입력하여 관리하면서 DB 프로그램을 개발하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 이 프로그램은 입력(수정)창, 검색창으로 구성하였고, 입력창에서는 조사기준 항목인 품종명, 엽면적, 엽폭 등 39개 항목과 사진을 입력하였다. 검색창은 주요특성 검색, 특성조합과 사진 검색으로 이루어졌으며 각각의 검색된 자료는 A4 크기로 인쇄될 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 차 육종재배 연구자 뿐만 아니라 농민, 차 애호가 등 어느 누구나 사용하기 쉽게 한글로 제작하였다. 따라서 차나무 유전자원의 DB 프로그램 개발은 급신장하는 차산업발전의 밑밭침으로 차나무 육종재배가, 관련 연구기관에 귀중한 자료로 제공될 것이며 재배농가에도 품종선택과 성분 함량을 이해하는데 귀중한 자료가 될 것이다.
