이 논문은 라깡의 ‘네 담화이론’을 교육문제 분석에 적용한 연구이다. 네 담화이론은 정신분석학자 라깡이 인간의 무의식 주체에 대한 연구결과를 사회관계 영역으로 확장하기 위하여 만든 이론으로서, 특히 지식을 중심으로 한 교육활동의 분석에 적절한 이론이다. 라깡에 있어서 담화에는 주인담화, 대학담화, 히스테리 담화, 분석가 담화의 넷이 있다. 교육영역에서 주인담화는 S1으로서 교육권력기관이 S2로서의 교사에게 지시하여 학생들의 학력향상을 가져오는 담화양식이고, 대학담화는 교사가 학생에게 학력 향상을 명하지만, 결국에는 학생을 소외되고 분열된 존재로 만드는 담화양식이며, 히스테리 담화는 정체성이 혼란스러운 학생이 교사에게 질문을 함으로써 여타 지식을 산출하는 담화양식이고, 분석가 담화는 분열된 주체성을 가진 학생이 참교사와 대화하여 정체성과 존재의미를 새롭게 하는 담화양식이다. 따라서 우리 교육현장에서는 히스테리 담화와 분석가 담화의 비중이 높아져야 한다.
The purpose of this study is to apply Lacan’s four discourse theory to analysing educational issues, and to get clues to solving the problems of education in Korea. According to Lacan, the discourse consists of the four unchanging places and the four unconscious elements. The switching of the four elements on the place causes a new discourse, and results in the four discourses. The names of the discourses are the master’s discourse, the university’s discourse, the hysteric’s discourse, and the analyst’s discourse. The university’s discourse on the education that teachers rules comes to making the students isolated from each other. The hysteric's discourse on the education that an isolated student initiates comes to producing the informations and knowledges. The analyst's discourse on the education that humanistic educator gives a guide comes to letting an isolated student to be a whole person. So, the hysteric's discourse and the analyst's discourse have to be encouraged on Korean education in order to improve Korean education and for a quality life of the students.
