이 논문은 경기도 도당굿 현장 자료에 근거하여 정황을 정리하고 경기도 도당굿의 구조와 의미를 논한 글이다. 현장 경험에 근거한 자료에 대한 정리와 해석이므로 크게 쟁점이 드러나지 않는다. 다만 자료의 충실성에 근거한 객관적 논의보다 정황적 기억에 의존하는 것이기 때문에 당시 연구 현장의 밀도를 드러내기 위해서 힘썼다. 경기도 도당굿은 마을굿이다. 마을굿이기 때문에 특성이 명료하게 드러난다. 굿거리의 구성에서 이 점이 나타나는데 1984년의 자료는 이에 근거하고 있으며 그 특성이 특정한 사제자들의 연행 절차에서 드러난다. 남성과 여성의 사제자가 복수로 구성되어 겹으로 굿을 연행하는 점이 드러난다. 경기도 도당굿은 특정하게 문학, 음악, 무용, 연희 등의 제학문적 관점에서 특별한 대상이 된다. 이 굿을 온전하게 연구하기 위해서는 이들 영역간의 협화가 불가피하다. 총체적 연구가 융복합적 연구로 이어져야 하는 것은 이 때문에 당연하다고 하겠다. 그 점에서 이 연구는 입체적인 각도의 연구로 삼을 수 있는 본보기가 된다. 총체적 연구는 여러 가지 연구의 영역을 대상으로 이론적 관점에서 연구되어야 진정한 도달점을 이룩할 수 있다.
This paper is based on field data, Kyeonggi dodanggut to organize the context of the structure and meaning of Kyeonggi dodanggut article is discussed.
