A Study on the Healing Process of Kut

이 논문은 굿의 치유 과정에 대해 소박하게 고찰한 결과이다. 굿의 치유적 기능은 여러 모로 중요하다. 일차적으로 특정한 고객과의 만남을 통해서 보여주는 것을 굿의 치유라고 정의하고자 한다. 그 과정을 일단 몇 단계로 구분하였다. 먼저 무당과 고객의 만남을 중심으로 첫 단계를 설정하여 이 실상을 다루었다. 다음으로 고객과의 관계를 통해서 이루어지는 금전적인 약속을 정리하였다. 그리고 굿을 통해서 이루어지는 일정한 단계를 정리하였다. 의례를 하면서 일정하게 신, 무당, 고객 등이 연결되고 치유의 본질적 단계가 구현되는 과정을 정리하였다. 그 다음 굿이 끝나고 이루어지는 일련의 사후 처리 과정을 정리하였다. 그리고 그러한 전체적 과정을 요점적으로 정리하고 해석하였다. 무속의례는 일정하게 치유하면서 즐기고 노는 과정을 보여주고 중요한 기능을 하는 것을 정리하였다. 굿은 역동적인 정서적 교감의 장치이고, 여러 신격을 오게 하여 인간을 정감적으로 자극하고 동시에 근본적 문제를 반추하도록 하는 특징이 있는 의례이다. 굿을 하고 나서 근본적인 위안을 삼고 그렇게 하면서 일정한 자신의 깨달음을 얻는 것이 굿의 전일한 치유라고 하는 점을 강조하였다.
