In this study, we explore the missionary strategy for the children orphaned by AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa, who have been placed on the impending crisis from AIDS regarded as the most serious crisis in the world during the 20th century and the 21st century. For this purpose, the current situation of AIDS orphans in sub-Saharan Africa, where is the highest frequently occurrence of AIDS orphans, the problems they faced, the efforts of the international community for the children orphaned by AIDS have been identified and analyzed. AIDS orphans who lost their parents, would be affected in all aspects of the children's life such as emotional stability, physical security, health condition and mental development. They lost the safety net for the right to grow at home, from violence, abuse, exploitation, bullying, discrimination and materialization. Due to the poverty, AIDS orphan can not realize the right to education. In extreme cases, children do not receive any support from family, and ultimately sometimes become street children. Various support measures for the children orphaned by AIDS were provided by the international institutions, the governments and NGO. Nevertheless, the lack of economic conditions, human resources and infrastructure indicates the limits in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. Church has been given the legitimacy to participate in the ministry and mission to AIDS orphans in the historical, biblical, and ecclesiastical aspects. In order to solve the problems facing AIDS orphans, the church must prepare wholistic and integrated support measures and induce the participation of the Christian community for action. Based on this premise, eight practice proposals for missions of the church for AIDS orphans have been suggested. First, the churches role alarming the seriousness and impact of the crisis situation of AIDS orphans; Second, emergency relief activities to solve the immediate problem of children of AIDS orphans; Third, participating in support activities for foster-carer and family, and local communities; Fourth, recovery of the right of education; Fifth support for AIDS orphans’ social and psychological needs; Sixth, prevention of AIDS orphans from abuse; Seventh, management of the temporary shelter for AIDS orphans; Eighth, establishment of cooperative supporting system. Christian community need to realize their responsibility in the society, recognizes the problems of those who are alienated and suffered in the world as their own problems and to implement the spirit of cross of Jesus Christ for others. Church community is aware of his own identity as a responsible being in the society, recognized the problems of the marginalised and the suffered in the world as their own problems, and will have to implement the spirit of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself to save them.
