이 논문은 남과 북이 공통으로 공유해야 할 통일의 기본가치를 탐구하는 데 목적이 있다. 남과 북은 각자의 통일원칙들을 제시하고 있다. 그러나남과 북이 내세우는 통일원칙은 서로가 공유하는 통일원칙이 아니다. 통일은남과 북이 함께 만들어가는 것이다. 이런 점에서 이 논문은 통일의 기본가치를 역사적으로 남과 북이 합의한 합의문들로부터 찾아내고자 한다. 역사상 최초의 합의문인 <7.4남북공동성명>는 ‘자주.평화.민족대단결’이라는 ‘조국통일 3대원칙’을 제시했다. 이런 원칙들은 ‘하나의 민족’이라는 기본가치에 근거하고 있다. 반면 <남북기본합의서>는 ‘두 국가’라는 현실에서 출발함으로써 ‘평화’라는 기본가치를 새롭게 정립하고 있다. 그러나 현재 남과 북은 이 두 합의문에 대해서 상반된 태도를 취하고 있다. 이것은 남이 ‘평화’의 원칙을, 북이 ‘민족’의 원칙을 내세우면서 대립하기 때문이다. 바로 이런 점에서 이 논문은 통일국가의 이념적 가치와 통일과정에서의가치를 구별하고 ‘민족’과 ‘평화’의 관계를 논하고 있다. 민족은 ‘하나되기’를원하는 반면 ‘평화’는 둘을 전제한다. 따라서 이 논문은 바디우가 말하는 ‘사랑’에 논의를 의거하여 남과 북이라는 ‘둘’이 구축해가는 ‘하나의 삶’이란 관점에서 ‘평화’로부터 출발하는 민족애가 통일의 길임을 주장하고 있다.
This paper aim to search for the fundamental values of unification that need to share between S/N Korea. Each the South and North have proposed the principles of unification. However, these are not the principles of unification shared with each. In this point, this paper seek it out agreements that the South and North historically have agreed to. The first agreement, <The 7.4 Joint Communique> was presented ‘the Three Principles of Reunification’ that is ‘independence⋅peace⋅greatest national solidarity’. These principles are a fundamental value that is to be based on avalue of ‘one nation’. On the hand, <The Basic Agreement ofInter-Korean> newly formulate a fundamental value of ‘peace’ by so doing start from ‘two state’. But Each the South and North is currently taking a contrary attitude. The South puts forward the principle of ‘peace’ while the Northis the principle of ‘nation’. In this point, this paper distinguishes between the values of process of unification and unified nation, discusses the relationship of “nation” and “peace”. Nation want to a ‘becoming one’ while ‘peace’ premises ‘two’. Therefore, this paper claims a unified way that is a love race start from ‘peace’ in terms of ‘two North and South’ is going to build a ‘one life’ by Badiou’s Love.
