이 논문은 들뢰즈가 주창한 소수문학론의 관점에서 카프카의 소설작품이 질적 글쓰기에 주는 함의를 탐색하는 시도이다. 이제까지 질적 글쓰기는 다양한 글쓰기의 유형의 기법이나 전략을 차용하는 데에 주력해왔다. 이와는 달리 이 논문은 질적 글쓰기, 그 중에서도 소설적 글쓰기 그 자체를 탐색한다. 배치로서의 소설은, 내용과 표현 그리고 탈지층화와 (재)지층화라는 네 가지 요소를 가진다. 특정 소설이 소수문학의 성격에 부합하려면, 표현은 내용에 대하여 우선적 주도성을 가지고, 동시에 내용과 표현을 관통하여 되기가 시도되어야 한다. 이러한 소설의 전형적인 예는 카프카에게서 찾을 수 있다. 그는 동물-되기와 피고-되기를 통해 소수자-되기의 분자적 욕망을, 만인-되기와 소리-되기를 통해 소수어-되기의 양자적 언어를 추구하고 있다. 결론적으로 카프카의 소설은 몰적 소수자의 분자적 욕망을 긍정하고, 그 욕망을 억압하는 사회적 조건을 분해하며, 소수어의 양자적 표현방식을 시연하고, 언어의 탈영토화를 절대적 수준으로 끌고 간다는 점에서 교육적 글쓰기의 사례로 볼 수 있다.
The purpose of this article is to investigate some implications of Kafka's novels and the minor literature theory that has originated from G. Deleuze and F. Guattari who wrote "Kafka: toward a minor literature" in 1975, for qualitative writing. Until comparatively recently, qualitative writing has concentrated its efforts on borrowing other writing techniques and strategies. Contrary to such attempts, this article tries to focus on the novelistic writing style per se. A novel as the assemblage is tetravalent: the content and expression, and the destratification and (re)stratification. A minor novel must have two cardinal qualifications such as 1) the priority of the expression stratum to the content, and 2) the presence of becoming or destratification through the strata. We can discover Kafka's novels to be the exact examples of minor novel, which shows the molecular desire of becoming-minoritarian through becoming-animal and becoming-the-accused, and does the quantized expression of the becoming-minor-language through becoming-people and becoming-sound. Conclusively, Kafka's novels have the following traits: it affirms the molecular desire of the molar minoritarian, analyses the social conditions which repress desire, exercises the quantized expression of the minor language, and leads the deterritorialization of language to the absolute level. I am convinced that his works reveal the typical case of the educative writing in higher destratificational degree of the expression stratum over the degree of the content, and in the becoming through the expression and content strata.
