공급망사슬이 글로벌화 되고 리드타임이 길어짐에 따라 불확실성에 의한 리스크 관리의 중요성은 더욱 높아지고있다. 이러한 차원에서 국제적으로 물류보안 강화를 위한 노력들이 많이 이루어지고 있고, 물류보안 제도 도입도가속화 되고 있다. 국내의 경우에도 무역보안과 공급망관리 강화를 위하여 AEO 제도가 도입이 되고 있다. 많은 선행연구자들이 AEO 제도의 활성화를 위하여 제도의 효과와 혜택에 관한 연구를 실시하였으나, 실제 인증을 획득한기업을 대상으로 효과를 측정하고 효과가 기업들의 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 AEO 인증을 획득한 기업들을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 인증 받은 기업들이 인증 이후의업무 효과가 물류성과에 직접적인 영향이 있었는지를 확인하기 위해 3개의 독립변수 (내부프로세스 개선, 수출입업무 개선, 이미지 개선)와 1개의 종속변수 (물류성과)로 나누어 3개의 가설을 수립하여 분석하였으며, 분석 결과 2개의 가설이 채택이 되었다. 인증 이후에 수출입관리 업무의 개선효과의 기업의 이미지 개선효과는 물류성과에 직접적인 영향이 있었으나, 내부프로세스 개선효과는 직접적인 영향이 없었다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내 AEO 제도 도입을 계획하거나 준비를 하고 있는 기업은 물론이고 지속적으로 유지하고자 하는 기업들에게 객관적이고 현실적인정보를 제공 할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.
As companies are faced with uncertainty regarding longer lead time and globalizedsupply chain, the weight of risk management is growing. Also more companies tempts toenforce logistics security systems such as AEO. A review of the recent literature reveals a few structured and systemic approaches forthe application of AEO, however, there is few empirical tests for the businessimprovements of the firms already adopted AEO. The purpose of this paper is to show the direct relations between the improvement ofbusiness process( internal process improvement, progress on import/export practices, imageimprovement of companies) after AEO implementation and logistics performances. The results of the analyses show direct influences of progress on import/exportpractices and image improvement on logistics performances. Managerial implications of this research are discussed.
