A Long Length Animation accepting classical novel -centering around <Empress Chung> script-

본 논문은 대표적인 고전소설인 <심청전>을 토대로 장편 애니메이션으로 만든 <왕후 심청>의 스크립트의 관계를 분석하였다. 먼저 <왕후 심청>이 완성되어가는 제작과정을 살펴보았다. 그리고 <왕후 심청>의 스크립트를 중심으로 기본적인 요소를 다음과 같이 살펴보았다. 첫째, 애니메이션에 나타난 캐릭터의 개성이다. <심청전>에서보다 등장인물들의 개성이 더욱 확실해졌다. 또한 권선징악의 구도도 강화되었다. 둘째, 사건전개의 긴박성이다. <왕후 심청>은 초반에 펼쳐지는 심학구와 이러니 대감 일당들과의 추격 장면과 중반에 심청의 희생과 함께 동시에 인당수 괴물 처치하는 장면에서 초조함과 승리감이 드러났다. 셋째, 시간과 공간배경의 활용이 적극적으로 반영되었다. 시간의 흐름은 하루 중 새벽, 아침, 낮, 저녁, 밤의 시간으로 세분된다. 애니메이션의 특성상 색채를 통해 표현해야 하기 때문에 색감의 차등이 매우 중요하게 작용한다. 공간 배경도 매우 다양하게 묘사된다. 가장 크게는 하늘, 숲속, 연못, 바다 등으로, 그 다음은 동네 지명으로, 그 다음은 집 외부와 집 내부 등으로 점차 세분된다. 이처럼 장편 애니메이션 스크립트도 고전에서 텍스트를 연구하고 분석하듯, 그 틀을 중심에 놓고 원전과 함께 연구의 소통을 갖는 자세가 필요하다.

This treatise analyze relation of a long length animation <Empress Chung> that is based on typical classic novel <Shim Chung Jun>. First of all, I inspect process of production being completed <Empress Chung>. Then I look into basic factors by centering around script of <Empress Chung> as follows. First, it is characteristic of character in the animation. The characters' characteristics are more distinguished than <Shim Chung Jun>. In addition, encouraging good and punishing evil composition is strengthened. Second, it is tension of by plot. The <Empress Chung> is described anxiousness and victory in the scene that chasing between Shim hak-koo and lord Eruny in the opening part and removing Monster InDangSoo with Shim Chung's sacrifice in the middle part. Third, application of time and space background is reflected actively. The time flowing is subdivided into dawn, morning, day, evening, night. The color gradation is operated upon animation very importantly because of animation's characteristic that expresses through color. Also, space background is described very variously. It is divided into sky, forest, pond, sea etc. and then the name of village, then the outside of the house and the inside of the house. We need attitude that puts the formality in the center and has suitable way to study in modern as we study and analyze a long length animation script in the classics in this way.
