In this article I compared and analyzed the person birth tales which appears to ancient novels of Korea and China. And through this I tried to clarify the feature and the world view of two country novels. As well as, from this process, I tried to seek the factors which are able to become the evidence which distinguishes Korean ancient novels and Chinese ancient novels The result, I founded the truth which incarnation tales降生譚 had been expressing with typical motif of the person birth人物出生話素 in the Korean ancient novels, and the truth which the tales of metempsychosis轉生譚, in the same way, were expressed with typical person birth motif in the Chinese novels. By the way in the incarnation tales of Korean ancient novel, people think the birth origin of the human to descending of heaven existence. And in the metempsychosis tales of Chinese ancient novel, people think the birth origin of the human to metempsychosis of the ground existence which includes human. With like this reason the ancient novels of two countries were showing the very different qualities in the view of human and things origin人物由來觀 and the view of the world世界觀. Namely, the Korean ancient novels are showing the theory that human and things origin are different人物由來相異論 from the view of human and things origin, and the dualism view of the world二元論的世界觀 from the view of the world. By the way the Chinese ancient novels were showing the theory that human and things origin are same人物由來同一論 from the view of human and things origin, and the monism view of the world一元論的 世界觀 from the view of the world. From these facts, I clarified the fact that these view of human nature and things nature and view of the world in the incarnation tales and metempsychosis tales of two country novels succeeded the view of human nature and things nature and the view of the world in the oviparous myth卵生神話 of ancient Korea and the contact birth myth感生神話 of ancient China. Also, in the incarnation tales of Korean ancient novel mostly the praying childbirth motif祈子致誠話素 is included, but in the metempsychosis tales of Chinese ancient novel it did not appear entirely. And many metempsychosis tales of Chinese ancient novel was telling tales that nature things such as fox or rock is born again a person, or a person born again with an animal such as cow and dog, however, Korean ancient novels did not appear those of metempsychosis tales. Based on these facts, this paper prescribed ‘praying childbirth-incarnation tales’祈子-降生譚 of ancient novel in Korea and ‘metempsychosis tales between human and things’ 사람-事物 轉生譚 of ancient in novel China for distinction factor that show peculiar individuality of each ancient novel in Korea and China.
