This sturdy deals with that the social capital affects the behavior problems of children in ordinary family or divorced family and which factors of social capital are the most influential. The results showed that factors of social capital affecting the behavior problems of children were significantly different between ordinary family and divorced family. The economic status and coercive attitude of parents in ordinary family or parents-children relationship in divorced family were the influential factors inside the family. Moreover, the supports from friends and teachers in ordinary family or the supports from relatives, teachers, and society and the number of friends were the influential factors outside the family. These findings indicate that different intervention of social capital is needed to prevent the behavior problems of children in ordinary family or divorced family. Based on the results we suggest preventive strategy for the behavior problems of children.
