This study is intended to try to find a solution of revitalizing teenager’s counsel by consulting them with Shot Message Service (hereafter SMS); and, it will be divided into two categories, which are consisted of study 1 and study 2.Study 1 grasps actual conditions of teenager’s SMS usages and desires for consultation by SMS; and, Study 2 analyzes the consultation contents of SMS, which is currently being operated by way of showing example all over the country, and the characteristics of teenager's SMS users. Presenting the results of this study, following research and analysis results for the actual condition of SMS usage and desires can be obtained as follows. Summarizing the result of this study, although consulting using SMS itself is fresh and suitable to the teenager’s culture, there are limitations for the deep consultation conforming principles and fundamental rules because of the limited character numbers, characteristics of the used media, and burden of the teenagers consultation. On the other hand, consultation using SMS seems to act as the hub function to the bridge role and deep consultation for the teenagers who deny the consultation itself because of the another characteristics of mobile, which are closeness, timeliness, anonymity, and convenience. As SMS is suitable to the teenager’s culture and there own place, SMS itself is ‘conversation’ and ‘consultation'. Therefore, possibilities of teenager consultation using SMS and somewhat activation can be seen and the degree of it could be widening to the degrees beyond the early stage consultation.
