The purpose of the study was to investigate the preferred philosophical attitudes of youth leaders, and to analyze the related variables with philosophical attitudes. The subjects of this study were 136. The instruments used in this study was PAEI developed by Zinn. The findings were as follows: First, youth leaders in Korea showed their philosophical attitudes in the order of Progressivism, Behaviorism, Humanism, Radicalism, and Liberalism. This means that youth leaders have the strongest progressive attitude and the weakest liberal attitude. Second, youth leaders in universities showed more Progressive, Behavioral, Humanistic, Radical, and Liberal attitude than youth leaders in government and community related institutes or non-profit organizations. Third, among the variables related with philosophical attitudes of youth leaders, age explained significantly philosophical attitudes except radicalism. Finally, these results implied that youth leader programs such as youth leader's training program needed to be developed in direction of establishing philosophy of education
