본 연구는 커뮤니케이션 회피 성향, 가족 커뮤니케이션 유형, 자기효능감, 자아탄력성이 청소년의 인터넷 중독에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 밝혀내기 위한 목적이 있다. 총 572명의 중고생을 대상으로 설문이 진행되었으며, 일원변량분석, 평균차검증, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 인터넷 중독경향이 높은 청소년들은 일반 청소년들보다 대인 커뮤니케이션 회피 성향이 높았으며, 가족과의 커뮤니케이션에 있어서도 대화지향적 유형보다는 순응지향적 유형이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인터넷 중독경향이 높은 청소년들은 그렇지 않은 청소년들보다 자기주장 효능감, 어려움 극복 효능감이 낮았으며 자아탄력성도 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 커뮤니케이션 회피성향, 가족 커뮤니케이션 유형, 자기효능감, 자아탄력성 변인 중에서 특히 커뮤니케이션 회피성향이 인터넷 중독을 가장 잘 설명하고 예측해 주는 요인으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of face to face communication variables and self traits on adolescents internet addictions. The SPSS 15.0 for Windows was used to analyze data obtained through 572 adolescent in several Korean cities. Data were analyzed by independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The findings are as follows: First, the internet addicted group shows high communication unwillingness and low conversation oriented propensity in family communication pattern. Second, the internet addicted group shows lower self-assertiveness efficacy, efficacy for overcoming difficulties and ego resiliency Third, the largest effective variable on the adolescent internet addiction is communication unwillingness among all the face to Face communication variables and self traits.
