The main purpose of this study was to explore the context of the conflict and difficulties early childhood teachers experience while carrying out their duties in kindergartens. A total of 4 early childhood teachers participated in this study and were interviewed. The data derived from this study was analyzed using the grounded theory approach. Teachers were found to experience conflicts based on relationships with parents, directors, and colleagues. They also had difficulties coping with the lack of recognition given to early childhood education by society at large. In addition, they had no resolving these issues. This study showed that parents need to deeply understand the attitudes and roles of early childhood teachers. Moreover, early childhood teachers need to be understood by society, which tend to have incorrect viewpoints on early childhood education and early childhood teachers. The conflicts and difficulties that teachers had should be understood specifically within the nature of the early childhood education. Finally, new social devices must be considered to raise the efficacy of early childhood teachers.
