본 연구는 만 5세 유아 150명을 대상으로 유아의 기질, 부모양육태도, 사회적 유능감 변인이 유아의 문제행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 문제행동 관련변인 간의 관계가 어떠한지 알아보고자 구조방정식 모형을 통하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 유아의 문제행동은 유아의 기질과 사회적 유능감으로부터 직접적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기질은 부모의 양육태도, 사회적 유능감에 직접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 양육태도는 유아의 사회적 유능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 유아의 기질 하위요인 중 반응성은 유아의 외현화 문제행동과 정적상관이, 유아의 적응성과는 부적상관이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 유아의 사회적 유능감 하위요인 중 정서조절, 대인관계, 사회적 지식은 유아의 문제행동과 부적 상관을 나타내었다.


The purpose of this study was to investigate the structure of young children's problem behavior and their related variables(children's temperament, social competence, parent's raring attitude). Subject were 150 young children and their parents. Instrumentations were questionnaire from the children temperament scale, parenting style scale, children's social competence scale, and children's problem behavior scale. The major findings of this study were as follows: the children's behavior problems were directly influenced by their temperament, and social competence. And children's temperament influenced parent's raring attitude, and social competence. The responsibility factor of temperament had direct effects on the children externalizing behavioral problems. The self regulation, skill of relationship and understanding of social competence had direct effects on the children's behavioral problems.
