본 연구는 유아용 다문화 인식척도개발 및 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보기 위한 것으로 연구 대상 아동은 서울, 경기도, 전라도, 충청도 및 경상도에 거주하는 4세와 5세 유아 711명이었다. 연구결과 유아용 다문화 인식척도는 총17문항으로 구성되었으며 하위요인은 다문화에 대한 배려, 수용, 개방, 존중의 4요인이었다. 본 유아용 다문화인식척도의 신뢰도의 범위는 .65에서 .87이었으며 모형적합도 지수는 RMSEA=.43, SRMR=.05, NNFI=.944, CFI=.953으로 유아의 다문화에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위한 척도로서 신뢰도와 타당도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
The purposes of this study were to develop a multicultural attitude scale for preschool children and to examine the reliability and validity of the scale. Participants of this study were 711 children aged 4 to 5 years old from Seoul, Gyeonggi-Do, Gyeongsang-Do, Jeolla-Do, and Chungcheong-Do. The multicultural attitude scale for preschool children consisted of 4 factors: 'care', 'receptiveness', 'respect' and 'openness' with 17 items. Chronbach's α ranged from .65 to .87. The confirmatory factor analysis revealed that RMSEA=.043, SRMR=.052, NNFI=.944, CFI=.953. All these results show that the multicultural attitude scale for preschool children is quite reliable and valid.
