본 연구는 유아 국악활동 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초 조사연구로써 유치원 교사의 국악활동에 관한 실태와 인식, 요구를 분석하기 위해 실시하였다. 연구의 목적을 위해 서울시 소재 공·사립 유치원 교사로부터 회수한 219부의 설문지를 분석하였다. 조사 결과, 국악활동 실시여부에 따라 큰 차이는 없었지만 국악활동 실태, 인식, 요구에 대한 전반적인 경향성을 파악할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 2007 개정 유치원 교육과정에 근거하여 생활주제와 연계한 통합적 국악교육 활동 프로그램 개발을 위한 중요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the current status as well as the kindergarten teachers’ perception and demand on the Korean classical music activity of Early Childhood Education. This basic survey would be a foundation to develop the early childhood Korean classical music program. The survey was completed by 219 kindergarten teachers in Seoul. The results show that there are no significant differences between the teachers who have accomplished the Korean classical music activity in their class and the teachers who have not accomplished it in their class. However, the research results show the general tendencies of the current status as well as teachers’ perception and demand on Korean classical music activity of Early Childhood Education. The findings would be basic data to develop the integrated Korean classical music program with the topics of the daily life based on the 2007 revised kindergarten curriculum.
