본 연구는 보육교사 양성대학 관련학과 예비교사의 교직 전문성 인식에 대해 연구하였다. 기존에는 예비교사의 교직 전문성 인식연구에서 연구대상을 유아교육과, 보육학과 재학생들 위주로 한 것과 달리 보육교사 양성대학 관련학과의 재학생들로 선정하였다. 경남지역의 3개 대학 4개학과의 267명의 재학생들이 연구대상이다. 교직 전문성의 하위범주는 전문적 지식과 기술, 사회 봉사성, 자율성, 전문직 단체, 직업윤리, 사회ㆍ경제적 지위이다. 연구대상의 학년, 소속 학교 교육연한, 보육전공 이수학점, 보육실습경험에 따라 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 첫째 보육교사 양성대학 관련학과 예비교사의 교직 전문성 인식은 중간이상의 점수를 보였다. 둘째, 사회경제적 지위 인식은 낮게 나타났지만, 변인에 따라 다른 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 교직 전문성 인식은 학년, 이수과목 총 학점, 보육실습경험에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다.
The purpose of this study was to research the perception level about professionalism of the teaching profession. The subjects were 267 undergraduates who enrolled in the departments of universities related to training curriculum to become a child care center teacher. The data were collected from 4 departments of 3 universities. This study was about the difference on the perception level about professionalism of the teaching profession according to grade level, the duration of studying, the experience of practice teaching, and the earning credits for acquisition of certification. The results of this study were as follows. First, the pre-service teachers recognized that the perception level on the professionalism of the teaching profession was over 3 points. Second, they recognized that socioeconomic status of child care center teachers were low. Third, there were the differences in the perception level on the professionalism of the teaching profession by grade level, the experience of practice teaching and the earning credits for acquisition of certification.
