본 연구는 현행 유치원 교육과정 속에서 창의성 교육을 위한 교수법에 시사점을 제공하기 위한 목적으로 창의성 기법을 활용한 유아 예술프로그램을 개발하고 적용하여 창의성과 사회성에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 이를 위하여 G시에 소재한 만 5세 학급 유아 52명(실험집단 26명, 비교집단 26명)을 대상으로 12주간 창의성 기법을 활용한 유아 예술프로그램을 적용한 후 유아의 창의성과 사회성에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 창의성과 관련하여서는 창의성의 하위요소 중 융통성을 제외한 유창성, 독창성, 상상력, 총점 모두에서 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 사회성과 관련하여서는 사회성의 하위요소인 지도성, 도움주기, 의사소통, 주도적 배려, 접근 시도하기, 나누기, 감정이입 및 조절, 총점 모두에서 유의한 향상을 보인 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to provide implications on effective creativity education with the effect on creativity and social skills of arts program using creativity techniques for preschoolers. To do this test, the arts program was conducted targeting 52 five-years-old preschoolers (experimental group of 26 and control group of 26) in G city for 12 weeks. Effect on creativity and social skills were examined. In relation to creativity, significant promotion was shown in fluency, originality, imagination and total scores of creativity except flexibility among sub-factors of creativity. In relation to social skills, significant improvement was shown in leadership, helping, communication, caring, access attempt, sharing, empathy and emotional regulation and total score among sub-factors of social skills.
