본 연구의 목적은 표준보육과정에 기초하여 개발된 보육프로그램의 인성 관련 교육내용을 분석하는 것이다. 분석대상은 여성가족부에서 2007년에 발행한 「연령별 보육프로그램」총 7권 중 3·4·5세 보육프로그램 총 3권이다. 인성 관련 교육내용 분석을 위한 준거는 자기이해, 자기존중, 기본생활, 타인존중, 공동체의식, 민주주의, 직업윤리, 국가민족, 세계시민으로 총 9가지 범주로 구성된 분류체계이다. 이러한 분류체계에 의하여 3․4․5세 보육프로그램에 나타난 인성 관련 교육내용을 분석한 결과 모든 연령에서 공통적으로 ‘민주주의’, ‘직업윤리’, ‘자기이해’ 범주가 높게 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of character education presented on child -care program based on ‘the First National Standard for Child –Care Curriculum’. The subjects of analysis are child-care programs for 3- ,4-, and 5-year-olds children which were published by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in 2007. The contants of character education consisted of 9 categories: basic rights including self-understanding, self establishment, basic living, respect for other people, sense of community, democracy, professional ethic, nation-ethnic, and world citizenry. The results of the study were described in the child -care program. The results are summarized as follows. The child -care programs for 3-, 4-, 5-year-olds children were democracy, professional ethics and self-understanding.
