본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적지지, 양육효능감 및 정서표현성 간의 구조적인 인과관계와 직·간접효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 실시하기 위해 부산광역시 및 경상남도에 소재하는 유치원 8곳의 만3∼5세 자녀를 둔 어머니 702명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 본 연구의 결과와 논의를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지, 양육효능감은 정서표현성에 직접적인 효과가 있다. 둘째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 결혼만족도와 사회적 지지는 양육효능감에 직접적인 효과가 있다. 셋째, 유아기 자녀를 둔 결혼만족도, 사회적 지지는 양육효능감을 매개로 정서표현성에 간접적인 효과가 있다. 본 연구의 이러한 구조적 관계가 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 정서표현성에 직·간접효과가 있음을 입증하였으며, 다차원적 부모교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 방향을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
The purpose of this study is to clarify structural causal relationships among the marriage satisfaction, social support, parenting efficacy and emotional expressiveness of the mother with younger children and the direct or indirect effects of those variables on one another. For this purpose, this researcher used data from the survey of 702 mothers whose children fully aged 3 to 5 were attending 8 kindergartens located in Busan and Gyeongsangnamdo. The data were processed through structural relationship analysis by using AMOS 20.0. Considering the findings of this study and their discussions, the research could reach the following conclusion. First, the marriage satisfaction, social support and parenting efficacy of mothers with younger children have direct effects on their emotional expressiveness. Second, the marriage satisfaction and social support of mothers with younger children have direct effects on their parenting efficacy. Third, the marriage satisfaction, and the social support of mothers with younger children have indirect effects on their emotional expressiveness via parenting efficacy. This study created a structural regression model showing relationships among the marriage satisfaction, social support, parenting efficacy and emotional expressiveness of mothers having younger children who haven't been researched before. This study demonstrated that structural relationships among the variables were having both direct and indirect effects on the emotional expressiveness of those mothers, expectedly providing a better direction of the development of a multi-dimensional parent education program.
