본 연구는 신입 예비 유아교사의 ‘효와 인성’ 수업 경험을 통한 효도 인식 변화를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 유아교육과 신입생에게 15주간 반성적 활동으로 이루어진 ‘효와 인성’ 수업을 실시하였다. 수강자 중 연구 참여 희망자 10명에게 실시한 5차례의 개별 심층 면담 결과와 그들의 반성적 활동자료를 Spradley가 제안한 ‘주제 및 유목분석 방법’으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 연구 참여자인 예비 유아교사들은 효도의 개념에 대한 인식의 변화를 가져왔다. 즉, ‘오래된 학문적 이미지’에서 ‘효는 가치로운 것’으로 바꾸어졌고 ‘사회적인 관계’에서 ‘인간적인 관계’로 변화되었다. 또 ‘물질적인 효도’에서 ‘생활 속에서 실천할 수 있는 효도’로, ‘효도는 특별하다’에서 ‘효도는 주위의 평범한 것’이라는 인식으로 변화되었다. 둘째, 효도 실천에 의한 생활의 변화가 나타났다. 효도는 ‘나중에 돈 많이 벌면’이 아니라 ‘지금, 여기서, 스스로’ 하는 것이라며 셀프효도라는 단어를 탄생시켰다. 그리고 스스로 효도를 실천하는 가운데 부모님의 사랑을 깨달아가면서 바른생활 태도로 달라졌으며 타인과 이웃에 대한 배려심이 나타났다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the freshman pre service childhood teacher’s changing recognition of filial piety through the experience in the class of ‘filial piety and personality.’ To this end, the freshman of early childhood education major had the classes of ‘filial piety and personality’ with the curriculum that consisted of self-reflection activities for 15 weeks. After all classes are done, 10 voluntary students had 5 times in-depth interviews, and then the researcher analyzed the data of interviews and students’ self-reflection activities by Spradley’s analysis method. The research results are summarized as follows. First, the volunteers that pre service childhood teacher have had the change of awareness about concept of filial piety. In other words, the concept of filial piety has changed 'filial piety is just old age's study for studying' to 'filial piety is valuable things in daily life'. In addition, it has changed ‘filial piety is material’ to ‘filial piety is possible in daily life daylife’ and ‘filial piety is special’ to ‘filial piety is ordinary and all around’. Second, the volunteers that pre service childhood teacher have had the change of their life's attitude by practice of filial piety. They have recognized that putting filial piety in practice is not 'It is possible when I have a lot of money later' but 'It is possible, now, here, and myself', and they created their own word 'self-filial piety'. Finally, they have changed to straight and narrow attitude with recognizing parents’ love, and appeared to consider others and neighbors by practice of self-filial piety
